Darul Ansar

What we did

As part of our Project Barakah #1 initiative — aimed at uplifting grassroots Islamic projects — we partnered with Darul Ansar, a growing support network for reverts to Islam. Using the HTML5 UP “Story” template, we crafted a modern, accessible website aligned with their values. With Cursor, we tailored the design to reflect sincerity, community warmth, and trust. Key features include a community testimonials section, revert stories, events section, team introductions, and a fully functional contact form with a thank-you page and integrated social media presence — all deployed to their custom domain darulansar.org.

From start to end

This project began with clear intentions (niyyah) to serve a cause rooted in dawah and compassion. We downloaded and customized a responsive HTML5 template using Cursor, then pushed the final code to GitHub. From there, we published the site via GitHub Pages and connected it to darulansar.org through GoDaddy. The design process was built on collaboration and clarity, with regular feedback cycles from Darul Ansar’s team. Each section — from events to testimonials — was added with the goal of supporting new Muslims in their journey.

• As part of our Project Barakah series, the entire service fee was donated to Islamic charity — Zakat Foundation turning this work into sadaqah jariyah (continuous charity), in sha Allah
